THE CLIFF HOUSE

– A TREEHOUSE ESCAPE
Perched on a cliff above a wooded wetland teeming with wildlife, the Cliff House is an eclectic mix of old and new and a treehouse escape from the everyday. Relax outdoors on your fully screened-in porch, which includes a day bed with a great view, and outdoor dining. The lofted ceilings in both the porch and the treehouse itself make this tiny home feel spacious. It has a full kitchen, a living room with built-in seating, a queen bedroom, a queen loft, and a full bathroom.

SUSTAINABILITY MATTERS

Of course, you’re experiencing luxury and getting an escape from the mundane when you stay at The Cliff House, but you’re also participating in an exciting carbon neutral exercise in sustainability.

All of our treehouses and hobbit homes have been built with efficiency at the forefront of consideration. With double walls, 400% efficiency heat pumps, and thorough insulation, your treehouse will stay warm in the winter cold and cool in the summer heat.

Plus, all of our treehouse and hobbit home properties are solar-powered, making them carbon neutral in addition to being so compact and
efficient that they barely sip power.

SOUTHERN MAINE Treehouse ESCAPE

Your relaxing treehouse escape is waiting for you, year-round, in beautiful southern Maine. You will get to stay in a forest that has been growing wild for most of a century without feeling like an intruder from your vantage point. The quaint town of Springvale, where you’ll be staying is centrally located inland between Portland in the Northeast and the coastal resort towns in the East and Southeast.

This helps you avoid the summer traffic when visiting any of the fun destinations within striking distance. Whether you want to go to one of the pristine beaches in Ogunquit, Wells, or Kennebunk, discover southern Maine’s flourishing restaurant scene, or browse the astonishing assortment of antique stores in the area, you can find many ways to spend your days away from the loud and bustling wider world in our Local’s Guide to Maine.
